Disavow File Generator
Paste toxic domains or URLs to generate a Google Disavow file. We'll validate, deduplicate, and format them for submission.
How to Use This Tool
- 1
Paste toxic domains or URLs into the input field — one per line. You can use raw domains (e.g. spamsite.com) or full URLs.
- 2
The tool automatically validates each entry, separates domains from URLs, and flags invalid lines so you can review them.
- 3
Click 'Copy' to grab the formatted disavow file or 'Download' to save it as disavow.txt ready for Google Search Console upload.
Why This Matters for SEO
Toxic backlinks from spammy or irrelevant websites can drag down your search rankings. Google's Disavow Tool lets you tell Google to ignore these links, but the file format must follow strict rules. Our generator ensures your disavow file is correctly formatted with proper domain: prefixes, deduplication, and comment headers — reducing the risk of accidental errors that could disavow legitimate links.

Common Disavow Mistakes to Avoid
Disavowing legitimate links
Only disavow links you've confirmed are spammy or part of a link scheme. Accidentally disavowing a high-quality backlink can hurt your rankings.
Using disavow instead of removal requests
If you can contact the webmaster to remove a toxic link, do that first. Disavow is a last resort when removal isn't possible.
Forgetting the domain: prefix
To disavow an entire domain, you must use the domain: prefix (e.g., domain:spamsite.com). A bare domain without the prefix won't work. This tool handles the formatting automatically.
Disavowing too broadly
Disavowing an entire domain blocks all links from that domain — including any legitimate pages. Use specific URL disavows when only certain pages are problematic.
Not monitoring after submission
After submitting a disavow file, monitor your rankings and Search Console data. If rankings drop unexpectedly, review your disavow file for accidentally blocked good links.
